On overview of HIV/AIDS is given in regards to how many people have been affected along with the efforts being put into research for finding a cure. The challenges of teaching preventative measures to high-risk groups are given as well as the complacent attitudes that has proved a huge obstacle to overcome. Some prevention tips are included with statistics of the reach of this disease.

Expanding the global response to HIV/AIDS

The staggering numbers tell the story of the wide reach of HIV and AIDS as nearly six million people around the world became infected with the disease. The preventative measures that can be employed are discussed as well the challenges faced by many health care workers in getting the word out to some communities and countries.
