Progressive supranuclear palsy
Article Abstract:
Progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) involves the progressive death of neurons in the brain stem, which results in problems with balance, movement, vision, speech and swallowing. There is no cure for PSP but certain symptoms can be managed and for swallowing difficulties gastrostomy is used.

Lactulose
Article Abstract:
Lactulose is a semisynthetic disaccharide that is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract and increases the amount of water in the large bowel, softening stools and acting as a laxative. It is advised to drink plenty of fluid while taking this medicine and to store in cool environment.
