Linda Thornhill's weight went down from 216 pounds to 126 pounds with proper diet and regular exercise. She also went on to win a biathlon competition because of her superb physical condition. Her case illustrates the fact that exercise and diet can help obese people lose weight and regain confidence in themselves.
