Recommendations for better management of stroke
Article Abstract:
A report published by the Royal College of Physicians of London highlights advances over the last 10 years but has recommended improvement in a number of key areas. Some of the recommendations are brain imaging, rehabilitation after stroke, working together across disciplines and clinical networks, focus on improving public awareness.

Article Abstract:
The key clinical developments in stroke prevention and treatment, and some of the roles open to nurses who wish to become involved in stroke care provision are highlighted. Evidence shows that stroke units and specialized care provide the best outcomes for patients with strokes or transient ischaemic attack (TI As).
