Rehabilitating children with polio
Article Abstract:
Rehabilitation and deformity prevention are crucial to the normal development and social integration of children afflicted with the disease. Health workers, families and nongovernmental organizations should cooperate to ensure that rehabilitation services will always be available to those who develop the disease despite efforts to eradicate it.

Disability prevention and rehabilitation
Article Abstract:
Globally, there is a rise in the number of disabled children. Disabilities can be prevented, or decreased through disease control, and through proper treatment. Many sectors such as health, safety and sanitation must work together in order to prevent a climate where disabilities occur.

Safeguards that prevent disabilities
Article Abstract:
Disabilities could be greatly decreased if the agents that promote them were lessened. The social climate must be peaceful. Other factors that must be controlled include health, safety, and biological, physical and chemical hazards. People must be respected and protected.
