Rest long or rest short: which is best for growth?

Rest periods between sets for bodybuilders should be from 20 seconds to no more than two minutes. This allows bodybuilders to gain the muscle mass necessary for success in the sport. For those who lift weights for strength and power, the ideal rest period would be 2-10 minutes or longer.
