Reports indicate that federal government should reward high-quality health care by giving financial rewards to the best doctors, hospitals, nursing homes, and health maintenance organizations (HMOs). Institutes like eCenter for Medicare & Medicaid ServicesE, eBlue CrossE of California, and others are working towards the concept by paying bonus to quality work of physicians and give them a share in savings resulting from better quality of care.
