Ricin poisoning: A comprehensive review
Article Abstract:
The literature on ricin poisoning is summarized and recommendations based on the best professional judgment for clinicians and public health officials that are faced with deliberate release of ricin into the environment is presented. Health care workers and public health officials should consider ricin poisoning in patients with gastrointestinal or respiratory tract illness in the setting a credible threat.

Risk of pelvic fractures in older women following pelvic irradiation
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to determine if women who undergo pelvic irradiation for pelvic malignancies have a higher rate of pelvic fracture than women with pelvic malignancies who do not undergo irradiation. Conclusions suggest that pelvic irradiation substantially increases the risk of pelvic fractures in older women.
