Risk assessment and management of periodontal disease
Article Abstract:
The risk factors associated with the occurrence of periodontal diseases are discussed. A three step method to prevent and manage periodontal diseases, namely brushing, flossing and rinsing with an antimicrobial mouthrinse, is suggested.

Two cases of diseases associated with Clostridium difficile were investigated to explore their clinical manifestations. Antimicrobial agent exposure is an important risk factor for Clostridium difficile-associated disease.
