Save our skin: Initiative cuts pressure ulcer incidence in half
Article Abstract:
The Nurses Association and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality implemented guidelines to help prevent the increasing incidence of pressure ulcers and provide treatment for the same. Recognizing the growing interest in the treatment of pressure ulcer, OSF Saint Francis Medical Center implemented the Six Sigma procedure in order to develop almost defect-free products and services.
