HMO putting more control into physicians' hands
Article Abstract:
Physicians have more control over their referral choices under the Private Practice Partnership (PPP) model used by Oxford Health Plans. Instead, each private practice builds up a network of physicians, under the umbrella of the larger organization. PPPs are becoming increasingly popular on the East Coast.
