Poverty adversely affects the health of many African Americans, but even college-educated black women suffer from health problems that are a result of being only a generation or two removed from poverty. Childhood poverty, racism and other factors are discussed.

A woman gave money to a candidate who flip-flopped about being pro-choice once he was in office. She was enraged and wanted her money back. Politicians who break campaign promises should hear from their constituents.
