Skin complaint
Article Abstract:
Controversy surrounds the use of Eusol in leg-ulcer treatment. Use of 50% Eusol in paraffin for dressing dirty ulcers has traditionally proved effective. However, nursing journal criticisms prompted a nurse to refuse to use the treatment. Nurses are entitled to question medical practice. However, difficulties arise where a doctor's judgement is concerned. The validity of nursing autonomy may be questionable.
