'Some trusts are just paying lip service to the protection of their staff'
Article Abstract:
Many incidents have occurred where NHS nurses and staff were physically assaulted by the service user. The local security management specialist (LSMS) is trying to provide better protection to the NHS staff members by encouraging more incidents reporting, raising security awareness and investigating security infringement and also making service user aware that he/she deserves best treatment but not to commit assaults without recourse.
