Spiritual hunger
Article Abstract:
The spiritual and emotional side of nursing children with anorexia became extremely important to Japanese nurse Eiko Watanabe. Japan's rapid economic growth has created a generation of children who are dominated by material wealth, while being denied spiritual guidance from their parents. Anorexic children are often starved of love which manifests into an eating disorder. There are six medical plans in Japan, which covered up to 99.3% of the total population in 1980.

Article Abstract:
Ensuring a high public profile is given to the subject of abuse of the elderly in nursing homes will create greater awareness of a subject which is difficult and emotive to deal with. Up to 40% of abuse cases reported to nursing organisations are carried out by male nurse, despite only accounting for 3% of the nursing home workforce, and this issue needs to be quickly addressed by nursing home managers.
