Article Abstract:

What now, coach?
Article Abstract:
Doctors, feeling more stress as the healthcare system changes, are increasingly turning to 'career coaches' for help. According to Center for Professional Well-Being director John-Henry Pfifferling, a career coach is not a therapist but, instead, something between a mentor and a friend. The goal is for the physician and the coach to collaborate, Pfifferling explained, to allow the physician to become a better self-manager.
