Article Abstract:
Interaction with professional antigen-presenting cells (APCs), recruits T cells into the battle against pathogens. The recruitment phase that is short and terminates when newly activated T cells kill the activating APCs is shown by a new study.

Tumor tissue and ascites from patients with ovarian cancer contain high level of cells with the regulatory T cells. In a process mediated by the chemokine CCL22 T cells migrate into the tumor and suppress antitumor responses.
