The dirt on being clean: or, why children develop more asthma
Article Abstract:
Hygiene hypothesis states that lack of early childhood exposure to microbial agents could increase susceptibility to infectious diseases. Today's more sanitary conditions, especially in more affluent, Western, industrialized nations, lead to children's immune systems being dominated by type 2 helper (Th2) T-cells, predisposing to asthma, allergic rhinitis and other atopic disorders.

Comorbidities in older patients with HIV: a retrospective study
Article Abstract:
A retrospective study was conducted to determine the prevalence of comorbidities in older patients with HIV, which could affect the delivery of their oral health care. Results revealed that at least one clinical comorbidity was present in 88.8%of patients and 59% had multiple comorbidities.
