Many cooking schools offer recreational programs for vacationers. The author went to Governor's Inn in Vermont for a weekend of fine dining and cooking classes. Such vacations can be relaxing, because people often do not have time to enjoy cooking as much as they would like to during work weeks.

Call of the wild
Article Abstract:
Women's lives have been changed by women-only outdoor adventures. A rafting trip down the Middle Fork of the Salmon River in Idaho instilled in the author a comfort level with her own body. She was more relaxed with her body imperfections than she ever remembered.
