The respiratory system
Article Abstract:
The respiratory system consists of trachea or windpipe, which bifurcates into the right and left main bronchi. The bronchi enter the lung and again branch into secondary bronchi and then supply to the lobes of the lungs, the bronchi continue to divide and there are alveolar sacs and alveoli where the gaseous exchange takes place and owing to this tree-like structure of respiratory airways, a vast area is available for gaseous diffusion.
