The use of vaginal specula in improving infection control
Article Abstract:
An audit on several local general practitioner practices showed that the vaginal specula is being reused as opposed to the need for practices to use disposal ones. It is argued that it is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure all medical devices are used only by those trained to do so.
