Tinnitus
Article Abstract:
Tinnitus is the term that describes noises in the ears and/or in the head that have no external source and the noises are described as ringing, whistling, buzzing or humming. It results from problems in the sensorineural system, which is involved in transmitting signals from the inner ear to the brain and the people most affected are older people and people who work in loud environments.

Post-traumatic stress disorder
Article Abstract:
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is caused by exposure to a traumatic event that results in the person experiencing extreme fear, horror or a sense of helplessness, and can manifest itself both physically and mentally. A discussion on the causes, symptoms, and recommended treatment for PTSD is presented.
