Transducible TAT-HA fusogenic peptide enhances escape of TAT-fusion proteins after lipid raft macropinocytosis
Article Abstract:
Use of a transducible TAT-Cre recombinase reporter assay on live cells, after an initial ionin cell-surface interaction, shows that TAT-fusion proteins are rapidly internalized by lipid raft-dependent macropinocytosis. These observations provide a scientific basis for the development of new, biologically active, transducible therapeutic molecules.

Bad signals jam organelle traffic
Article Abstract:
A rare genetic disease, in which albinism is combined with other symptoms, which have come from defects in multiple organelles related to lysosomes, is examined. The defects in organelle biogenesis and trafficking are found to be the result of gene encoding, a scaffolding protein that coordinates signal transduction events on late endosomes.

Killing HIV-infected cells by transduction with an HIV protease-activated caspase-3 protein
Article Abstract:
The authors point to the problem of using protease inhibitors to target HIV cells since resistant viruses appear which are not affected. They propose a different technique which uses a protein to be absorbed into the HIV cell, causing its death.
