French ski resorts are now seeking new markets and undertaken extensive refurbishment in order to halt the trend of falling visitor numbers and revenues. They have been undertaking marketing work in other European ski centres, such as Germany and Belgium, and are highlighting features which appeal to particular nationalities. They are also seeking to extend the season by offering summer pursuits such as mountain biking.

Article Abstract:
AONE is playing an active role in helping nurse executives adapt to changes in the healthcare market. The association held meetings in various parts of the country in 1995 and found that many nurse executives welcomed these changes, which will allow them to expand their roles and upgrade their skills. Many nurse executives could participate in the design and development of integrated delivery systems.

AKC barking up wrong tree

The American Kennel Club (AKC) is critical of the Assnociation of Veterinarians for Animal Rights' (AVAR) Canine Consumer Report, which identifies hereditary diseases prevalent among purebred dogs. AKC also questions the AVAR's legitimacy and the credibility of its president.
