Treatment and management of acute appendicitis
Article Abstract:
The signs, pre and postoperative treatment and nursing management of patients with acute appendicitis, which is one of the most common surgical conditions, are discussed. The prompt diagnosis and surgical referral reduces the risk of perforation and prevents complications and the surgical removal of the appendix is its only treatment.
