The changing pattern of hospital care for persons living with HIV
Article Abstract:
The inpatient utilization and costs by persons living with HIV in 2000 is compared with inpatient utilization and costs in 2004. It is found that the average number of admissions per person living with HIV has fallen, but hospitalized patients living with HIV are getting older and sicker.

The role for government health centers in provision of same-day voluntary HIV counseling and testing in Kenya
Article Abstract:
The role of primary health centers in provision of voluntary counseling and testing (VCT) in Kenya is explored. The study helped initiate a new strategy of health center-based VCT in Kenya and indicated that the government health centers in Kenya can be appropriate providers of VCT.
