U.K. controlled trial of intrapleural streptokinase for pleural infection
Article Abstract:
The therapeutic role of intrapleural streptokinase is explored. The results reveal that intrapleural administration of streptokinase does not improve mortality, the rate of surgery, or the length of the hospital stay among patients with pleural infection.

Intracoronary streptokinase after primary percutaneous coronary intervention
Article Abstract:
The low-dose intracoronary streptokinase immediately after percutaneous coronary intervention improves microvascular perfusion. This proved that the in situ thrombosis contributes to poor myocardial perfusion.
