Using dolls to alter behavior in patients with dementia
Article Abstract:
The study presents a retrospective analysis of various case histories of patients suffering from dementia to explain and observe the effects of the doll therapy on the behaviors of the patients. The results prove that the doll therapy is very helpful in treating dementia, as the doll users tend to have a more positive behavior and mood as compared to others, though it should also be backed by common medications for a more effective result.

The management of in vitro diagnostic point-of-care testing
Article Abstract:
In vitro diagnostic point-of-care testing (IVDPCT) is the direct measuring of an analyte in a sample taken from a patient in a ward, clinic, or primary care setting, without sending it to a laboratory. IVDPCT can improve patient care in need, and nurses perform IVDPCT in all areas of clinical practice from intensive care units to GP surgeries, using a variety of devices ranging from urinalysis strips to blood gas analyzers.
