Stop playing follow my leader
Article Abstract:
The UK's nurses must play an active role in shaping the future of the profession. This can only happen on the basis of a model of leadership and ownership of the corporate agenda by all nurses. Nurses at all levels must be involved in leadership, and must be assisted in this role by adequate resources. It is vital to ensure that ward leaders are placed in a position to put new policies into practice.
