More than three-quarters of Americans eat takeout food every month, and people who regularly eat takeout tend to consume more calories. To keep takeout from being a dietary disaster, people should focus on the most healthy convenience foods available. Vegetable pizza, skinless rotisserie chicken, chow mein, and smaller servings of fast food may be among the better choices.
