"When does thrill seeking cross over into mental illness?"
Article Abstract:
Legendary Steve Irwin's death in 2006 due to an unfortunate incident with stingray, prompts one to wonder, when does thrill seeking, living-on-the-edge behavior cross over into mental illness. It is argued that if Steve was not a rich and entertaining owner of a zoo, his outlandish stunts would not have fooled anyone and the society would have packed him to a hospital years ago, demonstrating that human society is generally prepared to tolerate mental illness if it comes in a showbiz wrapper.

The media should act with integrity in reporting mental illness
Article Abstract:
The media should take care when reporting incidents about mentally ill patients for it is their prime responsibility to act with morality and integrity. They need to educate the general public about the health of the mentally sick people, so that they realize they are in need of support and understanding and not ignorance and exploitation of their vulnerability.
