Working towards an NHS standard for aseptic non-touch technique
Article Abstract:
Health care-associated infection is a major problem with the incidence of microbe, staphylococcus aurous (MRSA), in the UK continuing to rise at a rate higher than in other European countries. An ongoing development of ANTT (Aseptic non-touch technique) is described and its effective implementation is outlined.

A flexible approach to methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus
Article Abstract:
Guidelines on the care and treatment of patients suffering from methicillin- resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) are presented. Suggested policies on patient isolation and the correct procedures to contain outbreaks are given.

An action plan to prevent and combat threadworm infection

Threadworm infection is common in preschool and school age children and is transmitted through eggs on the fingers and under the fingernails. The symptoms, consequences and the measures to prevent the infection are described.
