Article Abstract:
Men are facing hard times in studying and becoming obstetric-gynecologists (ob-gyns) since patients generally prefer female doctors. A medical student at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City believes this trend is unfair to men and could be dangerous to women's health at a time when there is a tremendous shortage of ob-gyns in the US.

From doctor to patient
Article Abstract:
A medical resident who suffered a seizure and had brain surgery describes how uncaring the attending physicians were during her hospital stay. The doctors were indifferent to her pain and were not interested in answering her questions. The experience improved her relationship with her patients.

Women and surgery - are our choices being guided by doctor bias?
Article Abstract:
Women face the possibility of unnecessary surgeries such as mastectomies, hysterectomies and cesarean sections. This is due to physicians' fear of malpractice suits and their unwillingness to keep abreast of the latest techniques. Women should go to a doctor whom they trust.
