Managed care plans tend to favor drug therapy over more expensive counseling to treat those affected by emotional disorders. A combination of drugs and counseling can benefit many sufferers. Several conditions are discussed, along with a number of medications.

A personal narrative by Chay Taylor of her experiences of colon cancer is presented. Taylor was 25 years old, and believed she was healthy, when she began to notice something was wrong and cancer was diagnosed.
