Andrea Zittel
Article Abstract:
Andrea Zittel, an ultra-functional artist, attempts to create a psychological state by simplifying and trimming down things as much as possible and she is much admired for her uniforms for daily living, rock-shaped furniture and portable living spaces all of which encourage an alternate way of living. Her experiments with other forms of expressions that challenged the concept of traditional art included breeding animals such as chicken and quails in her apartment.
