Rock band, Counting Crows, comprise of singer and songwriter Adam Duritz, guitarists David Bryson, Matt Malley, and Dan Vickrey, and keyboardist Charles Gillingham. They came on the music scene in 1993 with the multiplatinum album 'August and Everything After', were immediately hailed as a rock act and went on to record a string of top-selling albums gaining a reputation for giving energetic live performances.

Aaron Brown, broadcast journalist, born in Hopkins, Minnesota around 1949, was drawn to journalism at an early age and became a highly visible television-news personality, broadcasting live for the Cable News Network (CNN) during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. He was hired by ABC as the first anchor of its late-night program World News Now.
