David Frum, the conservative ideologue, writer and political commentator who was born on June 30, 1960, served as a special assistant from 2001 to 2002 for economic speech writing under President George W. Bush of the United States. He is a Readers Digest Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, serves as a panelist on the National Public Radio program Left, Right and Center and is described as one of the leading political commentators.

Dick Vitale, sports commentator and columnist began his career as a couch of high-school and college basket ball in his Native New Jersey, and then worked as a coach for a professional team. In 2001 the College Sports Information Directors of America gave Vitale the lake Wade Award for his contributions to college athletics.
