Henry Chauncey, February 9, 1905-December 3, 2002, was an educator and a seminal figure in the development of standardized educational examinations. He worked closely with Conant on a national scholarship program designed to offer opportunity to students of academic promise from more-humble backgrounds and from secondary schools across the United States.
