Article Abstract:
Jackson Katz, one of the leading anti-sexism activist in the United States, is known for his work in the field of gender-violence prevention and is the founder and director of Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP) Strategies, which is an organization that offers gender-violence prevention education and materials to universities, high-schools, law-enforcement agencies, the U.S. military, community organizations and corporations. Katz works to inspire men to take a stand against violence committed by other men and aims to create a male peer culture wherein he abuse of women by some men will be seen as completely unacceptable by the male peer culture.
