John W. Henry, futures trader and principal owner of the Boston Red Sox

John W. Henry in the year 1980 found a way to trace long-term trends in future markets by launching his own commodities-fund management company in the year 2002 'Boston Red Sox'. He and other members of Boston Red Sox are following sabermetrics, a system of detailed statistical analysis that is designed to measure ballplayers' abilities and true value with scientific precision considering their goal of building a winning team.

Theodore Meron, International humanitarian-law scholar and president of the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia

Theodore Meron, an author, professor, and prominent scholar of international humanitarian law, is the president of International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY) and the presiding judge of appeals for the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and is the only American to hold the chambers of both courts. His vast knowledge comes from scholarship and personal experience as a Holocaust survivor.
