Baseball player, Vladimir Guerrero was honored with the American League (AL) Most Valuable Player Award in 2004 when he led the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to the AL Western Division crown. To provide job opportunities for those near his hometown in the Dominican Republic, Guerrero has opened a factory, a propane distributorship, a supermarket, a women's clothing store, and livestock and vegetable farms.
