The plan and details of remodeling of the kitchen of Peggy Gilder, a designer/contractor in her 1928 Spanish Revival home in California are presented. Some of the renovations include introducing a refurnished gas range from the 1940s with six burners, adding more patterns to the wildly colorful linoleum tile floor and introducing a heavy-duty commercial refrigerator.

Homeowners Graham and Patricia Espley-Jones appointed an architect Carol Tink-Fox to reconstruct their 1920s house in Newport Beach, California and design the old-fashioned looking house for a family of five on a 40-by100 foot lot. Some of the design list of the house includes arched windows, wainscoted walls and built-in storage.
