Article Abstract:
Small homes that have L-shaped living spaces can appear cluttered and awkward when they are not decorated correctly. Advice is provided to improve the flow of L-shaped spaces and make rooms look bigger. These tips include using the same color scheme throughout the L-shaped area, choosing versatile furnishings that can be used in more than one area, adding recessed lighting and coordinating spaces with large rugs. These techniques are applied to a home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

A simple and effective way of decorating dining table tops is to assemble used bottles into vases. Recycling bottles in this manner is bound to become not only an effective decoration but a good conversation piece.
