Grapes are beautiful and tasty. But grape vines can grow wild and out of bounds. Therefore after a site for the grapes is selected, the type of support for the vine should be considered, trellis or arbor. Tips are given on growing grapes and fighting pests.

The varieties of Hydrangea are discussed and an appreciation for them as an effective lawn shrub is offered. Tips are given on the care and the successful propagation of the plant. Hydrangea flowers can be dried for use in winter bouquets.

Bush and bramble fruits are the best sources of fresh, summer produce. They usually reach their prime by the third year of planting. Their fruits last for decades and harvest better than those on vines and herbaceous plants.
