The Antique detective: America's love affair with the Banjo
Article Abstract:
The American's love affair with the banjo made Professor Paul Gura, a cultural historian, and James F. Bollman, a world-renowned banjo collector, work together on the colorful, factual, history of the American banjo. Samuel Swaim Stewart, was one of the most successful 19th century banjo makers, as he became not only one of the largest makers, but probably the leading promoter of the banjo.

The antique detective: Teapots: The next hot collectible?
Article Abstract:
A collector, Leah Rousmaniere claims that teapots as collectibles were getting the respect they long deserved and has offered advice and history for would-be collectors in her book, 'Collecting Teapots'. It was felt that a new generation of collectors usually looked for pottery teapot made from the 1920s to 1970s making figural as their first choice.
