Yarrow: living sunshine from the garden
Article Abstract:
Yarrow blossoms can be yellow, pink, red or white. The best variety for gardening are the fern-leaf yarrows which normally stand straight and do not spread. Yarrows generally reach month-long peak blooming in May or June. Tips for growing and for preserving the flowers are provided.

Tough like yarrow

The common yarrow is a perennial that is easily recognizable through its fern-like foliage and colorful flowers. It thrives well in adverse conditions, such as drought and poor soil, and grows fast. Among the more common varieties are Cerise Queen, Fire King and Lavender Lady.
