Achievements and challenges for work/life balance strategies in Australian organizations
Article Abstract:
An increased awareness among most organizations, of the need to enhance employee loyalty has brought about a sea change in human resource policies and practices worldwide. The statistical findings of a research study on the implementation of 'work/life balance' strategies adopted by Australian organizations are presented.

A comparative study of the incidence of performance pay in firms of Canada and Australia is presented. The study is based on information from 315 Canadian and Australian firms. Variable pay, high involvement, etc. are also discussed.
