Antecedents of expatriate/local relationships: pre-knowledge vs socialization tactics
Article Abstract:
Research into pre-knowledge and socialization techniques used by Swedish expatriate managers and their staff in Hong Kong in learning to work together is presented. It is concluded that the use of socialization techniques is effective for the Hong Kong employees in learning how to work well with their expatriate managers.

Expatriate selection: back to basics?
Article Abstract:
Research is presented suggesting that age has a positive link with the psychological, interaction, general and work adjustment of expatriates. Gender is not found to have an association, although a positive association with work adjustment was found for married expatriates.
