Anti-harassment law reviewed
Article Abstract:
Belgium's 2002 law on harassment underwent public evaluation recently. The new law provides employees a framework to seek informal assistance and sparked a fierce debate among companies on the harassment issue. The evaluation highlights some shortcomings in the legislation, such as lack of clarity. It also establishes the need to modify and reform the prevention provisions and informal procedure under the new law.
