Smoke gets in your eyes
Article Abstract:
Many UK public houses and restaurants offer customers the choice of smoking or non-smoking areas, although initiating such changes in local drinking establishments can be difficult and may reduce takings. Landlords are advised to help non-smokers by limiting the number of ashtrays, providing clear signs to indicate a non-smoking area and introduce ventilation which removes smoke from the atmosphere.

Playing safe
Article Abstract:
Leisure centres should ensure that sports hall sessions are run in accordance with fire safety precautions. Fewer people than that considered to be 'full' capacity should be admitted to speed skating sessions, however. Skaters should be expected to abide by strict safety practices. Safety advice for trampolining, inflatable castles, sun beds and climbing walls is also given.
